Wash the Dutch oven with warm, soapy water and dry it thoroughly.
No seasoning is required, as the enamel-coated surface is ready for use.
Cooking Guidelines:
Always use oven mitts or potholders when handling the pot, as both the lid and handles can become extremely hot.
Cook on low to medium heat to ensure even cooking and to preserve the enamel coating.
Avoid using metal utensils, which may scratch or damage the enamel surface.
Do not place the Dutch oven directly on open flames or extremely hot surfaces like hotplates.
Cleaning & Maintenance:
After each use, clean with warm water and mild detergent using a soft sponge or brush.
Thoroughly dry after washing to prevent rust, particularly on exposed cast iron edges.
Avoid harsh cleaners, metal scouring pads, and strong dishwashing detergents, as these can damage the enamel finish.
Never pour cold water into a hot Dutch oven or place it in the fridge while still hot, as this may cause thermal shock and damage the enamel.
